آقای محسن فروغی

محسن فروغی معروف ترین معمار ایرانی دوران رضاخان بود كه در برنامه های او فعالانه شركت می كرد، فروغی فرزند ذكاء الملك فروغی فارغ التحصیل مدرسه عالی هنرهای زیبای پاریس در ساخت بانكهای ملی، بیمارستانها و بناهای مسكونی بسیاری مشاركت داشته است. معمار دیگر ایرانی، وارتان آوانسیان، ارمنی، اهل تبریز فارغ التحصیل مدرسه عالی معماری پاریس كه بناهای هتل دربند، كاخ رضاشاه در سعدآباد، سینماهای متروپل، دیانا و مجتمع های آپارتمانی واقع در خیابان انقلاب به نام او ثبت شده است.

معماران دیگر ایرانی چون گابریل گوركیان كه دارای شهرت بین المللی بود و ساختمان وزارت امور خارجه و مجتمع های مسكونی كاملاً مدرن از كارهای اوست، كیقباد ظفربختیار، علی صادق، ایرج مشیری كه سردبیر و مؤسس مجله آرشیتكت بود، از دیگر معمارانی هستند كه نامشان در معماری زمان پهلوی اول ماندگار است.

برنامه مدون سازی رضاشاه به طور مستقیم در سنت معماری بناهای مسكونی شخصی نیز اثر گذاشت و از طرفی معماری یك حرفه شد، حرفه ای كه تا زمان رضاشاه هویت چندان نداشت، اما به تدریج پیام خود را در معماری ساختمانها به شهروندان منتقل می كردند و پایتخت نشینان اعیان برای ساخت واحدهای مسكونی خود به دنبال معماران تحصیلكرده می گشتند.

حكومت بیست ساله رضاشاه بر پایتخت را باید دومین دگرگونی تهران نامید، تغییراتی كه وسعت تهران را به حدود  ۴۶ كیلومتر مربع یعنی  ۲‎‎/۵ برابر دوره قاجار رساند. جمعیت  ۵۴۰ هزار نفر با میزان رشد سالانه  ۵‎‎/۷ درصد و جمعیت انبوهی كه در خارج از محدوده شهرداری زندگی می كردند، شمار خودروها كه غالباً آمریكایی بودند، سالانه تا  ۷۰ درصد رشد كرد، ورود اتومبیل به تهران در سال  ۱۳۰۸  حدود سی هزار ثبت شده است، خودروهایی كه نیاز به تعمیرات و نگهداری داشتند و برای آنها حدود  ۲۳۰  گاراژ ساخته شد كه در آن  ۵۰۰  استادكار و كارگر مشغول بودند.

پهلوی اول پایتخت را با ساختاری به فرزندش تحویل داد كه دستخوش تحولات بنیادی شد، ساختاری مركب، هسته اصلی كه استخوانبندی قدیمی شهر بود، شامل بازار، بقایای ارگ سلطنتی و ساختمانهای جدید اداری با الگویی شطرنجی از خیابانهای تازه تأسیس و هسته های پراكنده با محورهای ارتباطی خطی كه پایه های اصلی توسعه ساختار شهر تهران در مراحل بعدی شد.
